Sahaja Meditation as a Treatment for Asthma 

Research shows that Sahaja Meditation can be effective in relieving asthma and respiratory illnesses. A study of a large group of severe asthma sufferers at the Natural Therapies Unit, Royal Hospital for Women in Australia revealed tangible benefits after 16 sessions of Sahaja Meditation. Compared to the control group who received relaxation as therapy, the Sahaja Meditation group showed a significant reduction in severity of asthma symptoms, as measured by airway-hyper-responsivity to chemical challenges.
