Sahaja Meditation and Epilepsy
Some studies have demonstrated that Sahaja Meditation helps reduce the number of seizures of up to 86 percent after 6 months of treatment with Sahaja Meditation and a reduction of 65 percent after 3 months of meditation. Other reductions in stress-related physiological indicators in the Sahaja Meditation practitioners were observed as well… an increase in skin resistance, indicating decreased sympathetic nervous system activity (more relaxation); a reduction in blood lactate, indicating less anxiety; and a reduction in vanillil mandelic acid (VMA), an indicator of stress levels.
